Welcome and purpose

The content of this website has been designed to support staff in universal roles from health, social care, schools and the voluntary sector around mental health and suicide prevention awareness.

Please view our practical video communications guide here.

The site is also available to carers and people going through a mental health crisis for ease of access to the right support and recovery. The information and resources have been produced by an expert reference group including input from people with lived experience of mental health conditions, primary care, mental health trusts, public health, acute hospitals, social services, the ambulance service, voluntary sector and other key stakeholders. Within the digital guide, you will find a number of short videos as embedded links to further support awareness. There are also links to key national websites on further information. Guidance on safety planning is included via a link. Additionally, a number of mental health apps provide practical health and available support organisations locally, regionally and nationally for specific conditions and age groups where indicated.
